Editorial policies
A. Scope and peer review
Transactions of FAMENA is an international, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing high-quality original research and review papers in mechanical engineering and related fields. Manuscripts submitted to Transactions of FAMENA are evaluated on the basis of originality, scientific merit, technical quality, and clarity of presentation.
All submissions undergo double-blind peer review by at least two independent experts. The editorial office strives to complete initial evaluation and peer review in a timely and transparent manner. Reviewers are asked to assess the scientific validity, relevance to the field, and adherence to ethical standards.
B. Submission and acceptance
Authors are responsible for the accuracy and integrity of their work. Manuscripts must be submitted via the Transactions of FAMENA online submission system and formatted according to the journal’s instructions for authors. The corresponding author is responsible for communication with the editorial office throughout the review and publication process.
Accepted manuscripts must not be under consideration elsewhere and should not have been published previously in substantially similar form.
C. Editorial independence and decision making
The Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board make publication decisions based on the reviewers’ evaluations, relevance to the journal’s scope, and overall contribution to the discipline. Commercial, personal, or political considerations do not influence editorial decisions.
